Well, That’s What Anxious Mom Said posted her “Get to know me challenge” and as expected, challenged all her followers (instead of picking three) to do the same. How can I ignore that? So, here you go, in all it’s semi-anonymous glory.

Who are you named after? No one in particular, Mom just liked the name.

What is your favorite lunch meat? Sandwich Pepperoni

Longest relationship? Current one, together 19 years, married 17.

Do you still have your tonsils? Yes

Would you bungee jump? Uh, no, as if I’d trust a rubber band.

Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Always, it keeps the laces and show from stretching out.

Favorite ice cream? Mint Chocolate-Chip (the green kind, because artificial dye!)

What is the first thing you notice about people? Body language, easier to see who’s an introvert.

Football or baseball? Sports, meh.

What color pants are you wearing? Light tan.

Last thing you ate? Chicken Cheesesteak with Fried Onions and Bacon

If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Blue (III), superior to the first two, LOL.

Favorite smell? Turkey and stuffing.

Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone? Doctors office.

Hair color? Brown.

Eye color? Blue.

Favorite foods to eat? Spaghetti & Meatballs, Meatloaf, Girl Scout Thin Mints

Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies, no contest.

Last movie you watched? Twilight: New Moon (no laughing, daughter has the flu, her pick)

Favorite holiday? I don’t do Holidays, ever.

Beer or wine? Why no Bourbon?

Favorite day of the week? Tuesday (I get 4 hours alone, wife and daughter are at archery)

      Giving my scroll wheel a workout! Up, down, up, down, hahaha. Fried egg and bacon sandwich, how can you NOT follow someone that likes that sandwich!

    Okaydoke–I’ll rise to the challenge as well. Interesting questions, too:

    1. named after?–mom liked the name and it’s meaning (it was either what she chose or “Leia,” which, being born the year Return of the Jedi came out meant school would’ve been hell…on the other hand, gimme the bun hairdo and a sheet and my Halloween costumes would’ve been easy for the first 10 yrs)
    2. Lunch meat?–Peppered Turkey
    3. Longest relationship–1.5 yrs
    4. Tonsils still?–yup
    5. Bungee jump?–only if I can take someone with me
    6. untie shoes before removing?–canvas shoes, definitely (otherwise they rip). Other shoes, who cares?
    7. Favorite Ice Cream–Buttered Pecan
    8. first thing I notice about people–wish i noticed, but voice usually gets me first.
    9. Football or baseball?–martial arts or volleyball for me

    11. Last thing you ate?–$5 Naked Chalupa Box from Taco Bell

    13. Favorite Smell–tie between fresh cut grass or fresh baked cinnamon rolls

    16. Favorite foods to eat?–Cheeseburger Pie, Subway oven roasted chicken sandwich on wheat with spinach bell pepper black olives, tomatoes, light mayo and dark mustard, breakfast pizzas on english muffins
    17. scary movies/happy endings?–whatever’s unexpected, challenging, not a CGI-fest, and/or not formulaic, that’s all I care. And I’m completely sick of superhero movies…grr…
    18. Last Movie watched–was either “You’ve Got Mail,” “Bobby,” or “Down Periscope.”
    19. Favorite Holiday?–St. Patrick’s Day, I watch “Darby O’Gill and the Little People” and other Irish flicks over and over, and end up with an Irish accent for a week–fun times.
    20. Beer or wine?–neither, mixed drinks or Irish Cream
    21. Favorite Day of the Week–Monday so far, I tend to have it off and spend the day at the gym.

        I wish I could have it a lot less often, but it’s usually the most affordable option and when I’ve been out all day, the last thing I want to do is even heat up a can of soup…and I’m out of soup anyway, dang it.

    I may miss a couple but I will try:
    1. Named for my grandmothers
    2. Ham is really the only sandwich meat I like.
    3. I was married for 10 years, divorced in 1992. It was last relationship and the longest.
    4. No tonsils.
    5. Definitely no bungee jumping – I am totally in agreement with you about that rubber band!
    6. I don’t believe in tie shoes.
    7. The very best ice cream flavor ever invented is Salted Caramel.
    8. When I first meet someone I first notice how they present themselves and then I look for how they treat other people.
    9. After a great deal of internal debate……..football.
    10. No pants today, I am wearing a gray dress.
    11. Since I had breakfast last, it was an orange dreamsicle breakfast roll.
    12. I think I would like to be a deep purple crayon.
    13. Favorite smell is hard, it would probably be a perfume called Private Collection by Estée Lauder.
    14. Last phone call was from my daughter.
    15. Hair: Red with blonde/grey streaks
    16. Eyes: Green
    17. Favorite Food: Hamburgers (no cheese or onions), steak, sweet potato fries, lobster & grits, pizza
    18. Without a doubt, I will take happy endings every time. There is enough unhappiness and scariness in the world around us every day!
    19. Last movie was some random documentary that my daughter made me watch. I read books but I am really not much of a movie person.
    20. Of course, my favorite holiday is Christmas because of its meaning and because of family and the many years of memories I have that surround it.
    21. Wine/beer. I never actually cultivated a taste for most beer.
    22. Sunday is my favorite day. Although I should go to church every Sunday, it is the only day of the week that I have completely to myself ….. Usually. It is a quiet day and a day when I don’t have to interact with people. I can recharge my batteries.
