After playing an interesting round of “Would You Rather?” with the family, I thought it would be fun to get into the game of a weekly blog post. Feel free to join in on your own blog and be sure to give an answer to the question of the week.
**I will keep these questions rated G**
Would you rather live one lifetime that lasts 1,000 years
OR
Live 10 lifetimes that last 100 years each?
Be sure to leave your answer (and justification) in the comments!
I'm a middle aged technology geek with a life long passion for computers, technology, politics, science and all the bits in the middle between 0 and 1. I used to be a liberal but have mellowed in my advanced years to be more of a moderate conservative with a side of progressive for variety. What that means? Well, that means I carefully weigh all points, listen to what people are saying, then make an informed opinion that makes sense to the largest number of people without being fundamentally unfair. I run a personal blog, help manage and write for a community blog, and manage many other sites for various local businesses. I'm not perfect and failure is always an option, it's how we all learn.

A 1000 years…I am a history buff so I want to experience it all at once…with a break in there I might miss something…something amazing…have a good Saturday….chuq
I would rather live one lifetime that lasts a Thousand years rather than 10 lifetimes that last 100 years and while I am here let me say I also prefer my first choice over 100 lifetimes that only last 10 years too … Part of the reason is that I do not remember the experience of being born as particularly comfortable and as I look back on it potty training was totally an experience that I do not rate as “Up There” alongside such things as trips to Disney World. I am also unwilling to live more lives if I have to go through all the ignorant years of the process of maturing and learning. My school days were totally boring and I always felt like I was the prisoner of some kind of bureaucracy and when I was in school I had the feeling I would never know what it was like to be truly free. No, I prefer 1,000 years once around and then let that be it.
I hope this one lasts 100 years. I have lots left to do but I would do 100 years 10 times. I need the rest in between. Each lifetime is fraught with lessons and some can be quite difficult. In between, I can rest, reflect and do it better.

Give me quantity in this case. It’s all about different experiences, isn’t it?

10 lifetimes that last 100 years each. I like variety so being the same me for a 1,000 years sounds like a drag to me.
