After playing an interesting round of “Would You Rather?” with the family, I thought it would be fun to get into the game of a weekly blog post. Feel free to join in on your own blog and be sure to give an answer to the question of the week.
**I will keep these questions rated G**
This weeks question has been brought to you by technology.
Would you rather be unable to see for one day
OR
Unable to use electronics for one month?
Be sure to leave your answer (and justification) in the comments!
I could easily give up electronic gadgets for a month, but would find it very hard not to be able to read or follow my crafts. So definitely give up phones, computers, tv, etc.for a month

I could easily sleep through a day of blindness if I was certain my sight would return at the end of the time period but I think an electronic black out would drive me more insane than I already am.

There’s something to be said for a forced blackout on electronics. After about a week, the insanity goes away and is replaced with genuine conversation that is deep, thoughtful and fulfilling. A 3 week vacation into Adirondack State Park in upstate New York where cell towers are not permitted helped me discover that.

I could handle blindness better because I could sleep through such a day.

This doesn’t answer your question but do you remember the blackout of the Northeast in 2003? I was out West for business travel and came back just 45 minutes after the power came back on. I remember wondering what it would be like had the power stayed out. People would need to learn basics.
That said, second option. No electronics v no electricity is just a bit different. We survived before. (my vision is poor anyway)

Definitely rather to be unable to see for one day. I could do without TV for a month easily, but rely on texting/email for talking to people for the most part and would hate to be without that.
