The so-called administration in Washington, D.C. wants you to believe that we have the best economy in the world. Gas is $2.00/gallon, where is anyone’s guess. Groceries prices are down. Jobs are plentiful, allegedly because we kicked out the workers. Unemployment is low, but tell that to the people that are in the job market right now looking for work. I’m not buying it because my financial reality is drastically different from what these dudes are telling the people.

I’m no longer shocked with the level of lying that has become the hallmark pillar of probably one of the most corrupt administrations we’ve seen in a century. Anyone with half a brain can easily pull out their pocket computer (mobile phone) and do a quick search for information that can confirm what they’re saying. I actually believe that he thinks the “fake news” and “hoax” rhetoric is still working, but honestly, I think people have started to wake up and realize their lives are not any better off than in the last administration. The die hard MAGA will still exist, the ones that think climate change is fake, windmills kill hundreds of thousands of birds annually, war with a tyrant regime is necessary, and the administration selling access to the “president” is not a blatant violation of the Constitution.

There is seriously something wrong when the “president” and his family have added billions to their overall wealth using the office as their leverage. I do hope that the GOP loses and loses big in November 2026 this year, but I do not want a newly minted majority of Dems to bring charge after charge and mire the next two years in investigations. What I think we need is the majority to see the status quo is no longer acceptable and just starts getting to work reversing some of the titanic damage done by the orange man. Our country literally does better under blue rule than red rule despite the reds boasting their are the part of fiscal responsibility. The number for the last 50 years, with exception of one administration, cost us more money than we fiscally save. It’s right there, in the numbers, black and white, for anyone to see.

I know how I’m voting in November, and it isn’t red. It is so embarrassing to be American right now, with all this romper room childish crap happening every day. We need a leader that isn’t a damn boomer, their time is over. They need to step aside and let a new generation take over after dominating the world of politics for decades. Boomers are a main reason we have had the largest wealth transfer in our history and the reason that we’re in the predicament we are in now. Somewhere we lost the simple idea that the more you make, the more you get taxed. I propose a simple flat system to replace the broken one we have now. Under $50k/year, no tax. $50-250k/year, 5% tax. $250-500k/year, 10% tax. $500-2.5mil/year, 15% tax. $2.5mil-5mil/year, 20% tax. $5mil-10mil/year, 25% tax. That is just personal income. Corporate tax would be 75% of all net-profit made beyond $100mil, similar to how profit over $600k was taxed at 94% and encouraged companies to invest in their employees with pensions, paid healthcare, bonus’s, etc. Why can’t we get back to that?

Let’s have a discussion!
