So, our so-called president has basically bulldozed the East Wing, and then railroaded the construction so quickly that it outpaced the legal system. Regardless of whether the Supreme Court, or lower courts, rule on, it’s so far along at this point (on purpose) that it would be harder and more costly to remove than just finish. Fuck Trump! He’s a grown-up child that is pissy he never got Daddy’s attention when he was growing up. Or worse, he’s trying to make up for all the times that Mommy didn’t congratulate him on every bankruptcy, child molested, or woman he abused….. oh wait, those are all deplorable things that no one congratulates, silly me.

I’m actually okay with him finishing this monstrosity of a ballroom that no one but he wanted. This will be a physical symbol of why the GOP is completely wrong for this country as a whole. American’s taxpayers are paying for a large portion of this stupid ballroom at the same time everything they need to just survive has become more expensive. The ballroom will be a symbol for everything that has and is wrong with the current political system in this country. People will look at this ballroom, towering over the White House, and think “wow, I’m so glad that we kicked those GOP fuckers out of office.”

Having spent only two weeks in another country, I can very clearly see the snow job that our current politics have pulled over our eyes. Neither the GOP or Dems can claim victory because both parties are dysfunctional. A two party system, having run its due course, is clearly not the answer to our problems. I only hope that enough people wake up and actually vote despite the efforts of the GOP to manipulate the elections in their favor; because these asshole know they can’t win if they don’t.

I’m certain at this point the ballroom will get completed. It’s very possible the dumb triumphal arch will get started or completed as well, but that is still up in the air. There is so much wrong, so much that’s been taken away, that even the die hard MAGA followers are starting to question their loyalty to a weak old man that is terrified of losing relevance with the people he idolizes; the rich. When he slapped his dumb name on the Kennedy Center, everyone turned their backs on it and to save face, he just closed it for “renovations.” I expect a similar thing to happen with the ball room, no one will accept invitations to events held there. It will be a 1,000 person ballroom with groups of a few hundred and look absolutely ridiculous.

I can’t wait until January 21, 2029, that will be a glorious day….. Trump will be dragged out of the White House, diaper and all.
