I didn’t realize that cash came with the prize. It pains me to say this but unless I had a true solution for peace, I would take the cash. At this point in time, after all the Laureates, and still no peace, still the development of nuclear weapons, and human devaluation, I believe peace is futile.

I change my answer. I couldn’t accept the cash if I couldn’t enact peace. Peace as it stands right now is non existent and even if I chose to accept the prize, I could only accept the cash if true peace was acheived. Sorry for the flip flop. My conscience knows better than that.
